As we were born and raised in the region, we take great pride to show our guests the excellent legacy of Bukovina. This is why we have created different tours, starting with the basic half a day trip to the most impressive 4 painted monasteries and ending with extensive packages taking in more of the cultural heritage Bukovina is about. Just let us know about your thoughts and we shall come with a proposal.

We were 2 and hosted by Irene’s hostel (very nice staff by the way) which arranged our trip to the monasteries. It is a one day trip and we were driven by a guide and stopped to the 4 most well preserved painted monasteries, plus the blackware pottery factory, and a very nice Romanian specialty restaurant with a charming view on the valley.
I take this opportunity to thank our guide, Adrian, one more time, for all the explanations he gave us, for all the answers, for his remarkable knowledge on the subjects of the monasteries and the religion, but also the Romanian way of life.
